Ways to support PTO programs …

Box Tops - Look for Box Tops coupons on 100s of products in grocery stores such as Betty Crocker, Nature Valley, Pillsbury, Green Giant, Kleenex, Juicy Juice, Ziplock, Avery and many more!!!  It is amazing how many products are Box Tops participants!  Click here for more information.

Terracycle  - Please look for the TerraCycle symbol on your grocery items! TerraCycle uses these items to create many new products, keep trash out of our landfills and Bear Tavern earns $.02 for each item collected! Items we are currently collecting:   

• Drink Pouches....all kinds

• Kashi Packages...Boxes, wrappers and bag inserts (flattened)

• Toasted Chips packages...Ritz and Wheat Thins

• Nabisco packages...large cookie bags and snack bag wrappers 

• Frito Lay packages...snack and regular size bags

• Aveeno Tube packages...soft lotion tubes

• Scotch Tape...disposable dispensers and white refill rolls

• Elmer's glue sticks and bottles - NEW! Collection Box located in 1st grade wing! 

• Papermate and Sharpie Products - NEW! All pens, markers and highlighters.

When sending in your juice pouches from home please toss the straws, cut the top off above the straw hole, rinse and dry. This keeps things much cleaner! All items can be dropped off in the cafeteria in the TerraCycle Bin (white trash can with TerraCycle flyers all over it). You can visit the website www.terracycle.net for more information and to sign up for our collection team, print shipping labels and mail from home.

Use your TARGET credit card: When you use your Target credit card make sure Bear Tavern is listed as your elementary school. BT will receive 1% of your total purchase each time you use your TARGET credit card.

Bear Essentials Giving Campaign - The PTO’s annual giving campaign allows you to enrich your child’s experience at BT. Below is a list of what your donation will provide your child this school year. Please support our mission with any size tax-deductible donation you can.

• PTO provides for educational and fun assemblies

• PTO provides for our first ever International Event

• PTO provides for Science Fair and Invention Convention

Contributions to the Bear Essentials Giving Campaign can be made in honor of a teacher of staff member. It’s the gift that continues to give, and it’s tax-deductible. We will send a card to the honored teacher letting them know of your gift. Remember…when you give to BT PTO, you are giving to your child! Every little bit counts!
